Exports

Check whether a player is in a Slasher game from another resource.

Use these to keep other resources - death and EMS, inventory, HUD, anticheat - from acting on a player who is in a Slasher game. A player in a game is in their own routing bucket, at night, and may be invisible, frozen or armed with a weapon they do not own.

Client

isPlayerInSlasherLobby

--- @return boolean
local inSlasher = exports['xt-slasher']:isPlayerInSlasherLobby()

Server

getPlayerSlasherLobby

--- @param source number
--- @return number? lobbyId nil when the player is not in a lobby
local lobbyId = exports['xt-slasher']:getPlayerSlasherLobby(source)

isPlayerInSlasherLobby

--- @param source number
--- @return boolean
local inSlasher = exports['xt-slasher']:isPlayerInSlasherLobby(source)

All three are true (or return an id) from the moment a player joins a lobby, not only while a game is running.

Example

Keep a death screen from opening when a player is eliminated in a Slasher game:

AddEventHandler('gameEventTriggered', function(name, args)
    if name ~= 'CEventNetworkEntityDamage' then return end
    if args[1] ~= cache.ped or not IsEntityDead(cache.ped) then return end

    if exports['xt-slasher']:isPlayerInSlasherLobby() then return end

    openDeathScreen()
end)
